Im writing a story for teens but i need some good ideas. Its mature teens reading so any ideas.. im stuck... thanks

A girl who is adopted and begins searching for her birth family after her adopted Mom gets sick and she is afraid that she won't have a mother. Finds out bio. mom isn't interested in being part of her life, but forms a bond with her bio sister.

If it were me I would write from a personal point of view I knew something about such as date rape, being a runaway trying to survive (possibly keeping a teen from doing this). If you keep it on a personal approach you can tell how and what happened and or what you did to stop it or survive it. I would choose a topic as stated above if you don't have personal experience ask around!

u should write about a teen who lost their parents in a car accident and they have no one to turn to and they have to take care of 6 brothers and sisters and haveno time to be a teen because they have a family to support.

how about teens getting bullied on the Internet about being gay or lesbian. I know this is a real problem these days....
