I think that if you can afford and like their clothes then buy them. Even if you can not afford it, you can still find clothes that are affordable and cute. You do not need to buy name brands to be popular because if the popular kids will not like u for what you wear then there is no point in trying to impress them. People should notice you for what you really are and not for what you wear. You can find some really inexpensive things that look really cute, if you take the time to find them. I have noticed that a lot of popular girls that wear name brands that get boyfriends break up with them a lot faster than girls that do not worry about name brands. You could save your money and get something more if you save up for it instead of buying one of their shirts. Just think about the outcome before you do anything.

I can only afford it if I browse and see what I want, then save up until I reach the amount needed to buy what I want from such stores. It's the only way I can do it, but just like that, I wouldn't afford it. I can tell you I can afford more American Eagle clothing than Hollister.

They're overpriced and overrated, period. I never cared about Hollister or American Eagle. Yeah...some of their stuffs are cute but everybody and I mean everybody is wearing them. It gets really boring and almost stupid. U wear them to stand out but when everybody's wearing the same thing then it's just become ordinary. U could get much cuter and cheaper stuffs from vintage stores, websites and things like that. Hell, u could even take ur mom's stuffs and modify it to make it look more up to date and certainly one of a kind.

I'm one of those people who have a different shirt every day from there.....either they are very rich, they shop the clearance(shirts are about $4 or 5 dollars then...or they borrow clothes from other people...as for me, I fulfill the last two statements that I said.

I have the same at my school, and I guess some people are rich and can afford that. Even if I could afford their jeans, I wouldn't want to. I can make holes in my favorite pair of jeans and they'll be less expensive and fit me better, too.

Well I don't see why any one would want to by either (especially hollister) because it is just ugly, tacky, generic, crap. It is laughed at in the fashion industry! You can do so much better then ugly, cheap shirts from hollister

well most of the time teens spend their money (like my older sister). Most people can afford american eagle stuff and hollister stuff.

The clothes there are indeed quite steep for the quality you get. it's trendy and fashionable and all.

they probably don't spend their money on anything else just to buy those clothes...or maybe they ARE that darn rich. You never know.
