When I was in middle/high school, I frequented hotmath.org very regularly. They even had my school textbook on their page. They show you step-by-step instructions on pretty much all the problems STRAIGHT FROM THE TEXTBOOK. It's a very helpful site.

i have been to most of the ones already listed and as a high school student i can definetly say http://sparknotes.com is THE site for any math difficulties. i use it all the time. just search the subject in question in the search box (ex: algebra) and it is full of great free resources, including examples, sample quizes and it really walks you through the subject well.

Hope this helps!

I'm not sure of where you are from but here our local school districts have a website called peaks and it has a program on it for homework help..there i can see what my child's assignments are but also see examples on how to solve his problems contact your schools office and see if they have something like that at your school...also if that doesn't work try www.homework-help.aol.com

I thought that site might be helpful. It seperates the subjects, and then gives examples and explains them really clearly, I thought.
