I think media are conservatively biased because its good for commerce and required to keep facts from people; uneducated people spend more money and will believe anything--perfect for the right. If media were actually liberally biased as you claim them to be, then they would not make any money, or, rather, if they did make money, then the consumer population would be entirely too educated to tolerate even the slightest right-wing platitude.
If media were liberally biased then we would likely be overthrowing our oppressive government as we speak. Rather, to me, the idea of "liberally biased media" is a shrewd tool employed by the right which pits people against each other--and shows how the right will do anything, invent any claim or lie, to maintain the power structure because... they can feel it slipping away little by little... all the time.
The right is afraid of the change that's coming.
THEY ARE SO AFRAID. And A FRAUD! ha!
But don't worry too much about them because they have plenty of money socked away in case something goes terribly wrong. But given the opportunity, I'm sure they would all like to fill their pocket books a little more... Aren't the rich rich enough? Damn it, its all about money.

Liberal bias in the press/media is a right wing myth. Bush got more favorable coverage on all the major news outlets than Kerry and Gore combined during the last two elections. Everything I've seen has Dems in the lead in all the important races, and most political experts say that the Dems WILL win the seats we need for control. Perhaps you should try getting your info from a source other than Fox News or the conservatively biased press. And perhaps it would behoove you to show exactly where these races are, and what the numbers are, to back up your claim.

It's NOT. The media for the most part is bought and paid for by corporations. There are a few truth tellers who manage to break through with news that would not appear if the Dumbya Coup government TOTALLY controlled the media, but it is rare. The media consolidation is an attempt by the Coup at such total control. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

Because popular media is paid for by liberals. MSNBC is a fine example. Anyone who doesn't see a connection between popular news outlits(CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC) is only lying to themselves.
Of course, there is FOX. It obviously leans right, but thats only because the right pays their bills. Follow the money.
Don't worry, it doesn't always work in their favor. Look at Air America which has hurt it's own pocketbook by being quite vulger towards the right.

That is such a lie.
The biggest lie ever propagated by this administration and conservative wack jobs in general is that the American media is liberally biased.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Our news is crap and has been for awhile now.

You only think that the press is so liberally biased because they are simply telling it as it is, unlike the conservatively biased ones who just echo the ramblings of the current administration without using their common sense thinking.

How are so many people swayed by that sort of thing? I think they want their bumper stickers to say that they won come election time.

When the little rich spoiled hippies decided to go ahead and get their education, they went into teaching, journalism, and professional services.
They filled up the journalism field so they could spread their hate-America and commie agenda.
Around 90% of all the News Media vote liberal Democrat.
They still hate-America. And, I'll bet they still are dirty and stink.

I read the article. You;re upset because it doesn't have a conservative spin, consequently you say it has a liberal bias.
