Not likely, make sure your radio has TWO wires that have power to it when the key is on, one thats constant, and one thats switched on by the key. Then check the ground. If those are all good the radios fried DAWG!!! Good luck

check the antenna plug has not fell off at the back of the radio

No, you should still hear a few staions in the radio. You have either a defective radio or the inline fuse is bad.

does the thing work at all? cd, or tape. a bad antenna can cause it to apper to be bad, AM is more suseptable to a bad ant.
