Reckless.
How can someone even be considered courageous who sends others (troops) to do his job, instead of using diplomacy to spread democracy? Especially, when he went AWOL when he was called to serve during the Vietnam war. His policy back then was not Cut and Run, but Run and Hide.
Really. How courageous does one have to be to use fear, as a powerful tool to remain in power? That's not courageous, that's foolish, cowardly, incompetent.

To call Bush courageous is a slap in the face to men like Washington, Lincoln, both Roosevelt's. For anyone to say that Bush is the best president we've had, as one of your other responders did, is beyond ridiculous.
I don't know if I'd call him reckless. More like arrogant.

At this point in time, he comes off as arrogant, egotistical, dictatorial and is going to do it his way or no way. Why do you thinkg Republicans are fleeing a sinking ship at election time. He has become so unpopular even among his own party. That says a great deal about the man who went in with the right idea of what a president needs to be-of,by and for the people, along the way, he has forgotten who put him where he is and why. He needs our prayers-and don't we all.

To be reckless, you would at least be in a position to make a different choice. I cannot accept that he is discerning enough to make that choice. Courageous?.... NO, plain stupid.

Neither he is calculating, he calculated that a war in Iraq would bring unrest to the middle east and raise the price of oil. He and his buddy's are getting rich off of the deaths of 2800 Americans, 655,000 Iraqi. Many, many more wounded and deformed forever. This is an immoral man.
