Do you check your food order before driving away from window?
Do you insist the order is re-filled if a mistake has been made ?

It depends. If it's a big order, then yeah. I don't INSIST that it be re-filled, but I will say "excuse me, but I had two orders of fries and I only got one" ...if you're polite then they are usually happy to fix their screw up.

I always check my order and it is almost always right because I am nice and polite when I place my orders. Occassionally a mistake is made but I am very nice about it and indicate that I understand how such a mistake could be made. I always use please and thank you and i believe that it makes a big difference.

My husband, on the other hand, almost always has his order messed up. He's not rude but he is not explicitely nice, either. What's crazy is that he almost never checks it before he leaves. If he does remember to look, he will only ask for something that may have been forgotten, but he will not ask for a correction (like what is contained on a hamburger).

yes i check and if they forget to include something that i've paid for or made a big mistake... like giving a hamburger instead of chicken nuggets which is not at all what i've ordered.. then yes i wouldn infact go back and ask for my order to be fufilled to what i originally asked for but i alwasy do it in an extremely polite and non combative way. i wouldn't go in mcdonalds for example and be all nasty because they forgot to give me a biggie fry.. id go in and present my recepit and politley ask for what i've ordered for. is that too much to ask for? i think not XP yes it is always good to check your order becasue more times than not someone hurrying at theh drive thru window has forgotten to put in a part of your meal. just be nice about it when they do make a mistake.

i do not insist anything from someone working a drive thru window, their job is hard enough without some fat azz too cheap to eat somewhere decent telling them they didnt get their fries. I politely remind them that they may have made a mistake and would they please recheck my order. thanks.

Yes, because they always seem to forget my fries. Plus if I'm in the car with my mom, she'll eat one and if they are cold she'll wait in the parking lot for hot fries!
