I lost a love when I went to fight in a pointless war.
After Leaving the army I got married had children.
I met my lost love coming out of an estate agents. I went to say hello but found we were just hugging each other. she looked like she was going to cry tiers we welling in my eyes.
She thought I was going to die.I thought she stopped loving me I let her go. Police(Sting) every breath you take.8 days ago 14hours and approx 20min

I'm in love.
A lot of song lyrics have taken on new meaning.
For instance there's a song by a band called the Chocolate Watch Band that has a line "before you came my way the world was nothing to see, now looking through the eyes of love things are quite different to me".

Definitely. I just got engaged on October 8th, and I'm still relishing in the moment ;). My fiance compiled a cd of all our favorite love songs, and everytime I play them, I look deep into the words and get all mushy inside.
My favorite: Climax Blues Band, "I Love You."
Here's a glympse of the lyrics:
When I was
A younger man
I hadn't a care
Foolin' around
Roamin' the town
Growing my hair
You came along
Stole my heart
When you entered my life
Ohh baby,
You got what it takes,
so I made you my wife
Since then, I never looked back
It's almost like living a dream
And, ohhhhhhhhhh
I love you
Chokes me up everytime ;)

I'm in love and yes music definitely affects the way I listen to music. I have always been a romantic sap, but now when I hear most songs, it makes me think of him. Right now...Would You Go With Me and Your Man both by Josh Turner, and Nobody but Me by Blake Shelton.

Hm... no, I'm not in love... love may not change the type of music I like (I will love my post grunge and alternative rock no matter what!) but it can open my mind to new types of music...
Hm... call me twisted but Stinkfist by Tool reminds me of love for some reason or another... Love Song by Cure (later done by 311), and um... that's all.

I have been in love for 38 years now and most older songs remind me how lucky I am

When you break up with someone, listening to the music that you listened to together is quite possibly that hardest part of all. Its basically an unbearable pain which ruins alot of good music for you.

Yes. I am in love, but not mutually. "I don't want to miss a thing" by Aerosmith is the best love song I've heard so far.
