I really enjoy that you asked the question in the same grammar that you ask it aloud. NEVER start a sentence out with "like"

Yeah, in X3, they really didn't say too much about what Jean Gray was. The Phoenix was basically an evil inside Jean that made her use her powers for bad. It was basically good and evil Jean inside and evil took over, so the only way that she could be controlled (read: two L's) was through Professor X's mind control and her being restrained so that she wouldn't get up and kill people.... again.

Sorry if I was a b!tch. I just deteste poor grammar.

Oh, boy.... where do I begin?

First off, if you're going by the movies DON'T. That was a horrible bastardization of one of many Chris Claremont's masterpieces the Dark Phoenix storyline.

If your going by the comics, you can do a search on Wikipedia for X-Men and Dark Phoenix and it will fill you in on the original story.

www.uncannyxmen.net also has some interesting notes.

Enjoy.

yeah, jean grey needed to be restrained by Professor X, due to the fact that she had a separate personality, The Phoenix, that was more powerful than Prof X and completely unstable. He set up telepathic blocks to keep the Phoenix from emerging.
