100% not ifs, ands, buts about it. I find that marijuana is nothing like the other drugs that are illegal, and should be legalized and sold just like alcohol. Drug laws are saying to me that adults arn't mature enough to use them. Who gives anybody the right to tell me want I can and can not do with my own body. This is my property not yours.

And now the Republican morons are wondering why rapists, murders, theives, and pedophiles are going on probation. Probably because majority of those that are in prisons, are marijuana offenders.

Another problem is that people think legalizing drugs period will make us seem as we are promoting drug use. The fact is that not everything that is legal is good. Republicans know that.

I think that it should be legalized. I drive around smoking weed and nothing bad ever happens. Cops have seen me and they don't even care. I think that when you drink you get violent and irrational. When a person smokes weed it calms people and relaxes them.

On the other hand I think that you should be of a certin age to by weed; kind of like tabaco and alchol. Also, when you get caught with weed and you are under the age i think that you should get the same reprecustions as if you had alchol and you were under age. If you look at what weed does you notice that it calms your nerves. It doesn't blur ur vision, it doesn't make you stumble, all you do is feel great. Yes when you drink it feels good until you throw up. Also when you get drunk your motor functions go out the window. People can get raped and ****. When you smoke weed you don't throw up and you don't loose your motor funtions.

All in all i think that weed is better then alchol because of what it does to your body. i think that the goverment should legalize weed and sell it them selves. Think of all the money that they would make.

Not saying if it should or should not, but it should belong in the same category as alcohol and tobacco rather than cocaine and heroin. There is no evidence of marijuana being more harmful than cigarettes (in fact an 2005 Johns Hopkins study shows that marijuana does not contain the compounds that cause lung cancer in cigarettes). Also it is a safer than cocaine and heroin which run the risk of overdose (as does alcohol). So maybe instead of deciding that if we make marijuana legal we should compare it to our already legal drugs - alcohol and tobacco.

I think it should be legalized. In fact I dont understand why it's not legal. I mean, look at weed and then look at alcohol. When was the last time you saw someone smoke a joint and beat his wife?

Absolutely!. No other civilized Co in the world locks people up for this. Violent criminals are let out with a slap on the wrist, but if you have a pin joint.....No one smoking pot is violent. (I've been a victim of violent crime)

I think it should be legal. But I think you should be held responsible for your actions if while under the influence, you commit a crime or cause an accident.

I dont think its a very bad or hardcore drug, and I dont think its addictive, and it actually calms people. I dont see it as a "drug" I see it as an "herb". I rarely smoke it, maybe once or twice a year but not much of it. I also see it as a type of pain killer. It also helps very high strung and stressed people feel relaxed and non stressed.
