First of all, you don't need to have FireFox.
Go to http://javimoya.com/ and follow the instructions on the page.
What you need to do is open another window and go to YouTube, then go to the page with the video you want and copy-paste it into the box on javimoya.
Then select YouTube from the dropdown menu and hit Download.
Save the file with the .flv extension at the end, and also get the FLV Player (the link to the download page is on the javimoya site).
Click and drag the saved .flv file into the player to play the video.
You can also get SUPER at http://www.erightsoft.net/S7f01.html (go to the home page and see beneath the third picture to get the download page, link is for info on the product) to encode the file in a different format if you want to import it to Movie Maker or whatever else you need a different file format for.
It works, trust me.

The videos on youtube are not actually videos, the videos are inside a "flash player", the most you could do is look in your temp files for the flash file, but I am very sure that it wouldn't work (and if it did the makers of youtube are stupid), you would have to actually download either 1) The actual video or 2) the .fla file.
