I don't really know but i don't think that is fair. I am not blaming Texas, or any of the south.

Really. If a fellow says he's "From Texas", ok, and he is a) ungrammatical like he's from Texas--in spite of a Yankee education, b) seems not terribly bright like he's from Texas, c) is hooked up with Big Oil like he's from (east) Texas, and d) mainly seems to get what he wants in life courtesy of his "good ol' boy" network, like he's from Texas....
Well, it doesn't follow, exactly, correlation isn't causation, but for many folks it does meet the criterion of "good enough." In plain English, it's called a "duck test", you know? As in, if it walks like a duck, flies like a duck, quacks like a duck....folks aren't generally going to be thinking "swan" or "falcon", you know?
I mean, I had to freaking *tell you* what a "duck test" was just now? Doesn't that drop the slightest hint of a clue at your feet?
I'm just saying....I am glad I no longer live in the redneck mid-South, down in Cotton Country, where I was raised, seriously. There are just some parts...I think it might be in the water, or something, but in some parts of America, folks wind up *stupid* or they learn to get out *quick*.

If you mean George Bush Jr. You are wrong he was born in Texas. George Sr. is the one born in New England.
