Yes I do watch too many UK quiz shows.
Scorpions live in the desert though which is why I can't understand their association with water!

it does not matter what the individual symbols given for each sign are - it is the position of the relevant stars in the sky that matters

I am Scorpio Sun and would say I get along quite well with all Air Signs as I have three planets in Sagittarius and two in Libra I also have Aquarius rising. I find Libra to be quite attracted to me personally there is always good conversation. Aquarius is thrilling and interesting I like them quite a lot. If I had a pick of planets in Aquarius I would go with Mercury. In a relationship Aquarius would be the most likely to work out as our interests match quite a lot. Then you have gemini these people are fun conversationalists and quite random and more deep than you might think.

Because Scorpio's prefer being in water and bite under the water & Aquairious is a pot that carries water with air content and air as well. Hence as per Vedic Astrology, Moon in Scorpio makes the person selfish sometimes with ulterior motives contrary to Aquarious which can contain & absorb a lot in it.

and Scorpio is a scorpion and lives in the water
