My BF also has a low sperm count.
Sadly its not always possible to improve it through diet etc as sometimes its not a result of poor health but a physical result from childhood surgery to the testes, injury, a varicocele etc (the latter can be operated on).
Dietary methods include taking Zinc supplements.
There are also several books by a writer called Zita West who recommends special "diets" to improve sperm count but to be honest they are so restrictive I can't see any man sticking to them. Certainly not mine!! You're not allowed any wheat dairy, fat, meat, certain fruits and veg, spices, blah de blah. A bit OTT if you ask me plus theres no proof they work.
I have also heard that keeping the testes cool by wearing boxers not briefs helps
And abstaining from sex for a few days to allow the sperm to build up. If you then time sex around your ovulation time this should maximise your chances of getting pregnant.
Don't give up hope though, my BF still managed to impregnate me! And he doesn't eat healthily at all!! It took us 2 years but we did it without any medical intervention!!!

Yes. My ex boyfriend had the same problem. Ask him to speak to his doctor, they will run some tests to figure out why his sperm count is low.. and they will give him medicine.

I don't know about any medicines but remember it only takes 1 sperm connecting with 1 egg for you to become pregnant!
