No I think it will just make it worse. Try motivating him in other ways like encouraging him to do other things. Give him a hobby or something. Hiding the remote will just make him frustrated and make him want to watch tv even more.

What business do you have living with someone you describe as good for nothing. If he is good for nothing, take a walk. Hiding the remote will not solve damn thing, afterall even the pubs show the sports channels he flicks on telly.

Probably right into a fight which you really don't want for
something like that doesn't usually solve the problem in the
first place. Your better off doing something by yourself that
you like doing. Good luck.

Sorry............You could hide the tv, that still would not help.
He would continue to be the way he is.
Either a man sets aside time for his family, or he is plain selfish to his own wants.

You want his attention.....wear something sexy and put the remote where you know he'd love to find it. He'll stop watching Tv.

What are you trying to motivate him to do? Please don't say something real important, cause if so looking for a dayum remote shouldn't be his motivation. Having a wife and children is more than enough motivation..................for any eral MAN.

Not motivate. Provoke. He's an adult, don't try and treat him any other way. You're an adult too. Act like one. If you want change, go about getting it in a way that's not so easy to label 'stupid'.

you could also take the batteries out and see what he does after that. Another suggestion is to perhaps get memberships at a gym and you both could exercise together...that would be fun!
My husband and I go to the gym everyday together and we enjoy it!

Maybe he isn't motivated because your such a b*tch. Good for nothing? No wonder he'd rather watch t.v then bow down to your demands and continue letting you walk all over him
