Easy question! The answer is obviously "Slayer". They have that pick you up, throw you across the room and jolt your brain quality! Drummer, Dave Lombardo, has been officially clocked as the fastest double-bass drummer on the planet!!! You'd probably be forgiven for thinking that they'd sold their souls to satan himself in order to pull off the feats of unbridled, thrash. Tom Araya is undoubtedly a kick-*** frontman and bass player, with the mindbending skill of Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman on axes!! Simply brilliant!

Cryptopsy. There's a fine line between extreme technicality and just brutal noise and these guys are straddling it. You seriously have to listen several times very closely before you can understand to songs.
