i have been taking guarana in a powder form in it's pure form nothing added to it , it has helped my energy level , but i find it also supresses hungry, is it bad in this case ?.

The site below gives quite a bit of info on it, including side effects.

It is a concentrated source of caffine and in the long term I think it would be VERY bad news. I wouldn't want to take it for more than the shortest time possible.

The active ingredient in guarana is caffeine. I used it for many months (yrs ?) I can't see it being any worse for you than a lot of coffee or, tea or cola.
