Whistling noise could be seal around door or window if this happens at a higher rate of speed. If its a low hum then it could be a wheel bearing. If a sigh pitched screeching or scratching noise it could be the brake pads. A whistling noise is usually the trim around door or windows unless it does it a slow speeds.

The high pitch squeal you hear is the brake pad sensor hitting the rotors. This is done purposely to alert the driver that your brakes are worn down to the point that you need brakes repaired/replaced. You have a short time after driving it this way before you hit the metal rotors, which will cause more of an expensive for you to repair.
good luck
