That's pretty vague! I would suggest looking at some of the themes your class looked at so far, and choose one that interests you & research it.

On anything? Maybe do something on a particular kind of animal. Like a pet you have or a pet you hope to have in the future. I have a parrot and there is alot you can learn about them.
Or, maybe research a career that you might be interested in when you get older - find out what college, how much college, where you could work - what the job entails. Do it for yourself and it will make the paper more interesting and helpful for future reference.

Bermuda Triangle... Seven Wonders of the world..Atlantis...
Religion. (maybe even Mythology)
A book... Maybe something The Lost Boys, The Outsiders, The Odysses, it won't be the last of any of them, Shakespeare, Poe.
Volcanoes....geology.
A piece of Technology.
A continent...China has a plethera of info.
The natzis...`1950's Germany.
Engines, Medicine, Communicatioins.
Animals.
Astronomy...The Constellations, terrestrial planets, exploration.
The Cell..as in biology (good reference for tenth grade)
economics...central banking, capital markets, regulations
Chaucer...he's an author from the 1800's. Will come in handy later.
And there is always the war....

Do something that interests you! It can be anything from the history of the real Dracula to whether or not time travel is possible. Here's a site with plenty of topics to help you start thinking.

im in 8th grade and we are learning about the renaissance and we have to research papers on a specific topic in it. i am doing the renaissance women - isabelle d'este. so you can do any topic in the renaissance if you want

depends on the subject. in eighth grade we learned about the civil war for history, and mostly chemistry related stuff for science. try researching a country's government or the way of life. i find those stuff interesting.

well I have no idea what the outlines of your paper are but if you write about something that you know well then its a easier paper to write because you know more about it so go with that.

yo i am in ninth grade and i am doing my jr project for high school.
are u into sports or animals, or video games?... do sumthing that u are interested in because if u choose sumthing at random u will regret it later because it won't interest u and then u won't have any motivation to do it.
