When I was a kid in England, early/mid sixties, I (think I) remember a kids' TV programme featuring a character called Twizzle whose arms and legs extended to get him out of lots of potentially sticky situations. I have never found anyone who can remember him. Did I imagine him? I am copyrighting this question in case I find he was a figment of my imagination and I can make some money of him as a creation!!

Twizzle was created and written by Author Roberta Leigh.
Gerry's company A.P Productions was approached to make
the series for tv.
It was about a little boy doll who ran away from his toy shop and along
the way meets a big cat with large paws called "Footso".
Together they build a town called Stray Town, so called as all the residents are stray toys who have left their owners due to neglect.
Out of the 52 episodes made, Gerry only directed or had involvement in the first 26.
One does wonder if any of these episodes are actually in existence as the tv company Associated Redifussion is now defunct and a lot of it's archive officially doesn't exist.
There has also been no confirmed repeats or video releases of this show, even during I.T.C's video releases of the Gerry Anderson catalogue of recent years. Hopefully things may become clearer in time on who owns the rights or if it does exist.
