Ask around your neighborhood and find out if folks need their yards raked / mowed, gutters cleaned or any odd jobs that they might have.
If you earn the money, you'll have a better appreciation of the item that you need.
Good luck my friend.

How old are you? What is this thing you need?
If it is not food or medicine, it isn't essential. It might be needed if it is a textbook or something else for school.
I suggest you get a job if you are an adult. If you are a kid, your mother is still completely right in refusing you. She knows what is essential and what is not.
Keep in mind that your mother must provide for the roof over your head and heat, water, and such as well as food. If she gave in everytime you thought something was important, your whole family would be homeless.
Grow up.

Listen, you ungrateful piece of monkey scum! If you're above the age of 10 & able-bodied, what in the hell do you need your Mom to get things for you? Get you dead butt busy & earn the $$ yourself. Even if you're just a kid, you can rake leaves, cut grass ,run errands, do chores, rob banks, whatever! There's all kindsa ways to earn $$, so get up & get goin'!

sell some things of yours, do house or yard work for people you know that you live by to get money for what you need. remeber parents have lots of bills top pay and not alot of $'s to pay with. she may want to help you but can not. try to earn this on your own. you will love the item more if you earn it yourself

respect your mom, when she said she has no money then stop whining. Get a job for what your needs are. Baby sitting, lawns, car wash, Mc Donalds, get a job after school, a lot of kids get their money that way. You will feel better about yourself rather than nagging yourMom for it.

If everyone in the world lived by the golden rule(treat people the way you would like to be treated)(do unto others as you would like done to yourself) what a great world this would be.

Hello... she has no money. You can't force her to drop everything just because you decide you really need something. If you need it so bad, go get a job.

be open and honest. If she feels that it is something worth getting off some money, then you're in luck. if not, find another way, and make sure that way is honest too.
