1)To begin with, click on start > run
type msconfig. Press OK
Click on Startup tab.
Uncheck names of those programs there that you do not need at startup.Press Apply. Press OK. Press to Reboot the computer.
2)if possible uninstall some programs from your computer which are not essential.
(start > control panel >add/remove programs)
3)download+install+run Free Crap Cleaner ccleaner http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
(uncheck the option to install yahoo toolbar during installing ccleaner, if you do not want yahoo toolbar to be installed on your computer)
4) Run Defrag. start > all programs > Accessories > system tools > disk defragmenter
5) See to it that there is enough free space left on the hard disk partition where windows is installed. Copy files elsewhere and delete them to make space.

Assuming that you are running a recent version of windows,
run the "disk cleanup" tool (it's under accessories/system tools").
It take a few minutes, so be patient.
Then defragment your disk - possibly more than once. This s also under accessories/system tools, and also needs a certain amount of patience :-)

Run a good set of anti-virus and anti-spyware tools.

You'll be amazed how much this can help...

Oh thats big trouble go get verizon DSL. Maybe the other net work you choosed are bad becareful they will always need you
to pay for internet its no joke! Or maybe you have dial-up cause dial-up makes it slower and only Verizon dsl could have helped you now say bye bye to dial-up and the network you choosed!
And go call verizon. To get your first dsl but you have to become a member of verizon! BINGO I WIN!

Go to safety.live.com and run a full-service scan.
This will:
1. identify and remove viruses, etc.
2. defrag your drives
3. clean your registry
4. remove unnecessary &/ temporary files

After the scan, you will have total control over what actions are taken and can choose which fixes (if any) you want to have done.

go to your browser and tools and internet options and delete
temp files and cookies
get a file management free ware program or something like
"Ultra Windows Cleaner Suite" and use it regularly
should help to speed up your machine also

Also go to accessories and system tools and do a disk clean up and defrag your hard drive


that should help

Add more RAM, delete your history and temp file folders. Uninstall programs that you don't use. You can also run a defrag on your hard drive.

clean up old junk, cookies history and then do a thourough spyware scan and delete alland then a virus scan, then if that doesnt help, defrag the harddrive and then add more ram
