My boyfriend and I have been together for over 2 years. Im 20 he is 26. When we first got together we had sex all the time. We couldnt get enough of eachother. We did it any where and everywhere. For the past year he doesnt seem to ever want to have sex. If I didnt beg him we would never do it. Half the time he says no because hes tired. I end up feeling like he doesnt want me and he feels pressured. I always thought the guy was one who was really sexual. When we do have sex its the same old possition every time. I even try watching porn with him and he doesnt want to. I dress up for him and it does nothing for him. My self esteem is shot. I dont know what to do anymore. We dont have any kids and he acts like we have 10 and no time to do it. I know he isnt cheating on me because he doesnt really have a chance to. I just dont know what to do please help!!!

Male sex drive is strongly correlated with testosterone level. His physician can measure the testosterone level with a simple blood test.

Also, if he is taking medication, especially antidepressants, that may affect his sex drive.

The testes produce testosterone regulated by a complex chain of signals that begins in the brain. This chain is called the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. The hypothalamus secretes gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) to the pituitary gland in carefully timed pulses (bursts), which triggers the secretion of leutenizing hormone (LH) from the pituitary gland. Leutenizing hormone stimulates the Leydig cells of the testes to produce testosterone. Normally, the testes produce 4–7 milligrams (mg) of testosterone daily.

He's an idiot is all I can say. Most men would be thrilled to have a g/f with a high sex drive and an imagination for creativity.

lol me and my boyfriend were in combination close to three years and its like te complete reverse...hes the person who has the better intercourse force and is alawys beginning it. I suppose you men must simply take a holiday from intercourse to allow him cool off and pass over it once more. And one other factor I've heard lol is that consuming alot of quantities of chocolate and oysters honestly raises libido =]

Damn, wish I was him, lol. You need to dump him, and find yourself a new lover. I'm available, hehe.
