Yes, of course it can. You simply adjust the air pressure regulator to suit the rpm you require. However, you may suffer a drop in torque due to the lower air pressure.

Yes. Where pipeline is connected to tool there is usually a little sliding/twisting collar that varies the amount of air going into the tool. More air- faster rpm

Other types of airdrill have a sensitive trigger i.e. more you pull in the trigger faster the drillbit goes.

sure ! all u have to do is increase or decrease the pressure of inlet air for example if it oporates at 7 bar pressure decrease it to 5 ... u can use a pressure reducing valve
