In recent days and weeks, the mainstream media have repeatedly claimed that the Republican base is suffering from "low voter enthusiasm." But in fact there is ample evidence to the contrary. Two recent national surveys all show partisan interest is approximately equal. Gallup's latest analysis suggests Republicans and Democrats are now roughly even in terms of anticipated turnout in the midterm congressional elections. This poll shows that the GOP in fact now holds a slight lead in voter motivation, up from just a few months ago (70% R to 67% D). RT Strategies/Constituent Dynamics (conducted Oct. 8-10) released district-by-district polling showing Republicans have a slight edge in partisan intensity. GOP "voter motivation" is higher than Democratic motivation in 19 of 32 competitive House races, in some cases by as much as a full point on a 1 to 9 scale. Despite the media hype, an examination of all the facts makes it clear: the Republican base is active and engaged.

No matter how you measure it--whether by record-breaking fundraising, unprecedented volunteerism, or scientific polling--the numbers show that Republicans understand the importance of the choice we all face on November 7!

I surely hate information. HATE. certainly they're as much as the antics as you have defined and definitely greater. the information and media are hurting our people no longer helping, empowering, informing and so on. in certainty I placed very much on information and greater so media at great for the down fall of society. They portray eye-catching fashions as norm making youthful have faith they gained't be familiar in the event that they do no longer look like the image edited, air brushed, make up from head to toe fashions and or donning and smelling like the products the fashions are advertising. there grew to become right into a time whilst husbands and different halves slept in separate beds on T.V. and quite some words ought to no longer be spoken in any public media platform. Now with reference to the only word that can not be pronounced is the "F" bomb, i'm valuable that's around the corner in spite of the undeniable fact that. IMO: Media = Grossly disgusting.

I won't comment on the particular article. However will on the 'media creating' news story.
YES and ALWAYS yes. My personal opinion is that one must NEVER trust anything the media reads - no matter what political inclination they are. It is upon our shoulders to search out the truth- read it all- and read all that you hear with a grain of salt. The smart folks like you, will. But sadly many don't. Voting should be approached from what is GOOD for ALL = not that I 'hate' someone or don't 100% agree with them. We must look at the whole picture. Vote with our conscious -- not our heart or the attitude of "I'll show them and vote this or that way". There is so much at stake in our elections that I worry that people don't go with what is right or wrong but what their family or friends tell them.

Check out the candidates with great care. A change is needed these past years have been a scandal for us Americans. No I am not influenced by Media, I can compare where we were 6 years ago and now. The picture is clear, we are in a mess on all fronts!

All of the Dem. scandal mongering and assistance from the Benedict Arnold media might easily BLOW UP IN THEIR FACES if they don't watch themselves.
These clowns expect us to believe that Mark Foley's e-mails are more important than national security, than our economy, etc. Meanwhile, the folks at CNN are practically joyful at a video showing an American soldier killed.
I know this: they are angering alot of people, and if this keeps up, Republicans might come out in full force.

Read a little deeper into it. Republican voter motivation is down in the Southern and Midwestern states, the bread basket for Republican votes. That's what's concerning the GOP. Northern and Western regional demographics remain largely unchanged.

Your additional details show your bias.
The news media will always skew things in a particular direction to make the news more interesting. Where I live the media are ignoring the talented "left" candidate and focusing on a battle between two "elder statesmen" types who run in the middle.

I'm tired of the whole liberal vs. conservative and democrats vs. republican’s mentality. I'm sure come election day you will not look at the name, platforms, or personalities of the candidates you will be voting into office. You’ll simply go down the list and vote republican across the board. You’re just as bad as any uninformed voter. Both democrats and republicans need to remember there is a reason we have two parties.

Of course they are. The libs are so desperate right now that they don't feel bad if they have to lie to win. Because God knows they can't win on the issues and in the arena of ideas.

If they will try to get away with Rather-Gate, then you know they have absolutely no problem with making up any anti-Republican story they want to run. I guess that is what happens when you believe that morals are relative...
