Not a secret place, but there is a plaque hanging outside my front door that says "Paradise" that the owner left here. While the apartment is twenty years old and it's been through a lot, it's the experiences I've had while living here and the atmosphere created by the way it's laid out that have truly made where I live a paradise all by itself.

Me too. I always have this image of lying on a hammock in some Caribbean island, sipping on pina colada, listening to some soft music, and just enjoying the smell of the ocean and the breeze that makes the palms sway.
