I agree with the other two posts. Sounds like you have a heater core leak. I disagree with using any of the so called "stop leak" additives though. It could plug up some small coolant passages in the system, and in turn, cause other problems. Fix it properly. Have the heater core replaced.

Yup, it's the heater core. I just had to replace mine in my winter truck and I had the same exact symptoms. Only 'cause it's my winter truck, I kept putting it off...then the whole thing went, causing my whole truck to fill with smoke while travelling 65 mph down the highway (okay, maybe 80).
Anyway, you should just replace the whole thing. They're not too expensive and a relatively easy job. Took me about 1 1/2 to do it on a chevy truck.
Also, if you put it off antifreeze will leak into your cab and ruin your carpet. Found that out the HARD way too.

Sounds like you've got a leak in your heater core - could try a bottle of stop leak gunk that you just pour in, but may have to replace the core.

relies upon how this is been taken care of. it somewhat is an excellent form of miles for any motor vehicle yet as long as a results of fact the motor has had ordinary oil differences it may nevertheless final yet another 60,000+ miles undemanding. The transmission isn't carriers to failure on that motor vehicle yet nevertheless if this is been used for towing, off roading or a great number of city making use of it ought to very nicely be wiped out. terrific thank you to get a hallmark of this is to make certain the tranny fluid, despite if it remains effective and purple and scents regularly occurring then it somewhat is in all probability nevertheless healthful, despite if it somewhat is brown and burnt smelling then the tranny in all possibilities are high high taking off to slide and build warmth as a results of wiped out grasp paks and or torque converter. additionally verify the coolant and engine oil and word in the event that they're effective and sparkling, this is a hallmark of ways this is been appeared after and maintained. There are different issues besides although, at that mileage issues like, U-joints, tie rods, ball joints, wheel bearings, starter, alternator, water pump, power guidance and AC compressor will start to positioned on out. you need to word if any of those appear like they have been replaced at the instant or ask for receipts. issues like that ought to somewhat nickel and dime you to dying on a motor vehicle that age and miles. stable luck!
