This is a scam/fraud. Yahoo is NOT running a lottery. Don't you think they'd be promoting it, or at least have information about it somewhere?

If you do a search on "yahoo lottery' you'll see all the scam alerts out there already.

This is a scam that has been making the rounds for quite a while. Only twist is that they are using Yahoo name this time.

I suggest that you report the email to Yahoo using the report spam button or send to abuse@yahoo.com
