sharp pains in right knee?

Question

i have been gtting sharp pains on the right side of right knee....my knee is not sore at all, but the pain just starts shooting for no reason and then goes away. what could be cause?

- borderline diabetic (but not on any meds)

- high blood pressure (one pill per day)

- social smoker

probably arthiritis- take some aleve or advil to get rid of the sharp pain

Don;t want to alarm you but if this continues you may need to go see your doctor. The high blood pressure and the borderline diabetis could possible be causing a pinch in a nerve or at the extreme a clot. For the mean time simple aspirin may help, old family remedy, take some mustard, yep mustard, smear it on the area of the pain and place a hot wash cloth over it. This stimulates blood movement. Works on your chest when congested also. Caution, may cause you to crave a hot dog....but I really am serious.
