my friends and i r going as hippies for our church's fall thing...what should we wear? acessories? hair? thanx!

Wear your hair down and parted in the middle. If your hair is short, get a long wig. Put in a few braids, and then wear a wreath of flowers or a horizontal head band (tie a ribbon around your hear that covers your forehead.)
Wear a long fringed vest over tie-dyed shirts. Get bell bottoms or flare jeans, and sew on patches of peace signs and flowers. I've also seen the hand gesture of the peace sign colored in red, white, and blue, which would also work. Wear sandals or go bare foot.
Wear long beaded necklaces, and paint a flower or peace symbol on your cheek. Get circular colored sun glasses.
If you have any humanitarian buttons or pins, wear them as well.

Straight hair, bell-bottoms, colourfull flowing shirts, beads, head bands, flowers, no shoes. If you don't have bell-bottoms, wear a long flowing skirt. and no bra's.
