Most colleges do offer assistance for students with learning disabilities. Your friend can check with their advisor to see what kind of specific help the university offers. Also, there should be a counseling and testing center at the university. If your friend is comfortable enough, they can also share this information with their professors. This helps the professor understand your friends background and concerns for academic achievemnet.
