I didn't come out since everyone always knew I was gay, but speaking from experience with friends, this does happen a bit.
For a lot of people, if they have been repressing their sexuality - or just not realising it - it's kind of like being a teenager again. You want to experience this entire side of life that you have missed out on. Plus, if you're already 26, it's possible you're also worrying about not finding love, and you want to go through a bit of experimentation before you settle down.
Of course, most of my gay friends didn't go through quite this extreme, that is promiscuity, E and drinking, but it is not that uncommon.
Still, if it continues for a while you should probably talk to him. It is a bad part of the gay scene (just like the straight scene), and it can lead to bad places if you stay in the drug culture.

Never did. When, I first came out I was in a realtoinship with another women that last 2 and a half years.
Was single for like 4 months?
Then, I got into another realtionship with another girl. We've been together for a year and half now. & I'm engaged.
Perhaps I should have gone through the skank stage though!
Hahahaha.

The "e" probably is impacting his ability to make good decisions and that plus the drinking and partying is probably an addiction taking over his life. Promiscuity is often a first stage of finding out about your sexuality - like becoming a highly aroused teen again, but now that you're older, you know better how to get those needs met and how to find others to meet those needs. Best thing you can do as his friend is talk to him about your worries related to these substance he is taking, but separate that concern from his sexuality. He is much more likely to listen that way.

Personally, no. I started in High School and it was with one guy, booze and drugs were part of it, but that was how it was then. If I had waited another 10-12 years, I might have gone a little crazy, but that would have been just letting off repressed steam. Give your brother a little time, he'll probably settle down, after all, boys will be boys at 26 if they didn't allow themselves to be at 16.

Party time isn't all that unusually BUT sounds like he needs a reality check. So Sis, bop him over the head and tell him being gay is not an excuse for becoming an E freak! Haha, that's the fun part of being a close sibling - unconditional acceptance with the ability to call stupid just plain stupid in a way no one else can. :)

Nope. Never did any of that. I can see having a little fun to make up for lost time, but you might want to remind him of how dangerous his actions are.Just because someone has to wait 16-20 years to get their lisence doesn't mean they should start doing 90 in heavy rain around sharp turns. People still have to be safe and keep from over-indulging or making choices they're going to regret for years just for a night of fun.
