My favorite Harry Potter characters are Fred and George. No matter what, you can always count on them to be hilarious, even when it sometimes has a dark streak to it. I think everyone in the world who has read these books hates Umbridge, Draco Malfoy, Voldemort (obviously), and Snape. With Umbridge and Voldemort I agree. Whole-heartedly. But in her last book, Rowling tried to turn the tables for both Snape and Malfoy. I don't think I go along with it as easily as she wanted, though...

I absolutley love Harry Potter too! I am such a big Potter-Head...that's what my friends call me...
My favorite has to be Hermione. We have a lot in common. She is intelligent, learns easily, hangs out with mostly boys, loves a good puzzle or riddle, has a fat cat, is bossy, daring, and she mostly makes good choices. JKR says that when she needs something to be said that she usually has Hermione say it for her. I also love the fact that she has crazy hair. It's such a cool charachter quirk.
I think that my favorite Weasley has to be Ginny. She is such a special person to the books. Being the first girl born in many generations to the Weasley's, having to deal with big brothers, the whole crush on Harry, being posessed by Voldemort's memory, sneaking around to learn to play quidditch, friendly and popular, and boy is she brass! Though most red-heads are.

Of all the characters Harry is easily my favorite.He happens to be really brave,selfless and is always ready with witty answers('no need to call me "sir" professor'....lol).i also loved him in book five when he was shouting at his pals and even Dumbledore because it showed a very human side to his nature.(a lot of people disliked that behavior).i also like Sirius,Ron and the twins.
As for book seven...i hope Harry survives-it would be awful if jkr killed him.but somehow i feel that after defeating Voldemort Harry might just die and if not him Ron or Hermione.if all of them do survive i hope Harry and Ginny end up together...they are just perfect.

I would have to say Harry is because I always want to be him in yahoo groups RPGs. I like Ginny from the weasley family best, but they are all cool!!!

Harry is really special. I love him.
I also love Hermione because she is curious, very intelligent and has that great out-of-control mane (just like mine).
In the Weasley family, it's difficult. I'd say I love Ron, just because of identification. He's afraid of spiders (as I do) and is a loyal and caring friend.
All of them remind me of us (my friends and I).

my favorite characters from the weasly family are the twins, Fred and George....i love how they finish each others sentances in the movies....i dont think that Dumbledore is really dead because after he fell off the tower, there was a Phoenix and the phoenix was his Patronus, he was also part of the order of the phoenix and the order was using their patronus's to send each other messages, so i think he just fell off the tower and sent a message to the rest of the order.....I also think that R.A.B is Regules Alfard Black, Regulus was Sirius's brother who was killed by Voldemort, Alfard was Sirius's and Regulus's uncle and their last name was Black, therefore it all makes sense...
