do lots of stretches. hold each stretch for atleast 10 seconds for it to be effective, and push a little more each day.

It takes time and lots of stretching on a daily basis. The best thing you can do is to go and get a yoga dvd and use it every single day. At first you will hardly be able to stretch, but don't get discouraged! The more you do it, the farther you can reach and eventually you *will* be more flexible!

as everyone says, stretch daily. I do it in the morning while watching the news, that makes me feel loose for the day. I do so again when i get home, and then another time before i go to sleep. I do it watching TV cause i can hold it longer while being distracted by the King of Queens and Seinfeld

Try stretching everyday, if you haven't stretched before start out slow. Then begin learning to how to become limber by trying with splits. Absolutely do not try doing this with a partner. I say this because this person does not know your breaking point while you all are stretching and that can result in serious injury. So take it slow, you'll get their...=)

by a process of stretching and exercise.
but if you really wanted to be very flexible you should have started when you were a baby.
