I told my friend how I feel about him, and he said some good things but he didn't make his self clear to me. I know that i am older than him and he thinks that i my not really want to be with him foreal, but i do. All that has happened in my life for the last past two years he has kept me going, he always there for me and my boys, he makes me feel so good about myself i think that i really do love him, but i do have a problem, my kids dad is staying at my house, he came into some bad luck and, i helped him out, Today he moving out, i told my friend, but he thinks that i am not foreal about us. i was just trying to help the person that help me bring two beautiful kids into this world. we have no relationship what so ever. I was just helping him!!! do you think that me freind will still want to maintain that speical relationship that we have and take it futher?????????

The best thing to do is to ask him / talk to him about how you feel about it. All you can do is what is sounds like you have all ready done, you told him. You just have to show him and give him some time. He may feel insecure since you let the father in the house. If the roles were reversed, you might have felt the same way. Just give him some time and space.

With your baby's daddy out of the picture, it should be easier to take this relationship to the next level. Don't expect him to buy that your relationship with the baby's father was just plutonic while he was there though, us guy's hate being made a fool of more then anything.

Just move on and don't mention baby's daddy or your relation with him anymore. Focus on the new guy and you. Good luck!

I'm not sure that he is believing you about having no relationship with your childrens father. Just give him some time and see what happens.

If he passed the stage of you to be with ex, why not this situation making everything more clear for him.
