Maybe for the same reason David Hasselhoff is huge in Germany.

They just prefer a different kind of music, look, etc.

Yeah. He was at the Latin VMAs and people actually cared about who he was. Here, he would have about as good of a chance as I would of getting into the VMAs. And thats not good!

i don't know but maybe it's better this way because he can enjoy some peace and quiet in the us. i mean that's why he lives there, right? btw, what do you think of his new album? ;))
