I have been invited by my senior lady boss to accompany her on her business trip which she plans to make next month.

The boss in her late 50's is a real volcano, when it comes to office work. God save the person who makes even a minor mistake in the task she orders to be carried out.
She has been nicknamed as 'Madame Hitler' by my office collegues.

I dread to think of spending time with her in a unknown place even if its only a business trip.

She has already instructed me to pack my bags with my clothes for a month.

Her business trip's normaly used to end in a week's time in the past. This time her ordering me to pack my lugguage for a whole months stay is a bit unnerving.

I am sure friends get the point I am worried about.

Since Its my new first job with a good pay. Displeasing her could hamper my promotion. Yet I want to avoid going out.
I am on a look out for good excuse to avoid this trip without displeasing her.

Quit whining and go on the trip. It will pay off in the long run. Besides she is probably considering you for a promotion and this is your test and/or moment of truth. Prove yourself on this trip and you will be her go to man from then on. Just watch out for sexual innuendos during the trip and no matter how exhausted you get, always be there and perform, one month of torture for promotion or raise to better position, better pay, and possibly less work is worth it.

there's something wrong and unrealistic about having students 17-19 go anywhere together. 17 by themselves is fine with an adult/parent accompanying them because by law they are still considered children and need supervision by a parent who would be responsible for them. People 18-19 it's a different situation, they're considered adults and certainly there should be older people around in case they needed help of any kind but not to supervise them since they're supposed to be adults themselves now even though they may be immature. If they get in trouble their parents would work with them to solve any court case, parenthood or rape or whatever. When you call it students then you usually mean it's school sponsored. Otherwise you'd be saying just kids got together and want to go somewhere. And in that case they're looking for trouble if they want someone under 18 there. My advice to you is don't go.

It does look like your boss lady has plans for you, be they sexual or business oriented. Might be a good idea to ask her if there are any items she wants you to bring, anything from the office etc. A month trip seems to indicate she likes you well enough to put up with you for that long a period. I wouldn't dump out of this trip, as a better job may be in her mind for you. Good luck !

As to avoiding the trip, I don't think you can without jeopardizing your job. She can take your refusal as insubordination and use that as grounds for termination.

Seems to me that you may be in line for some sexual harassment. If it happens take good notes for a future charge if she attempts to discipline you for "minor mistakes in the task she orders to be carried out".

go bite the bullet suck your way up the corparte ladder. or blow her off. if you are a man get drunk and **** her, if you are a woman, and your boss is gay lick kitty, (did i say get drunk).

if you are an adult you don't have to do anything you don't want to well except pay taxes and die, its all a matter of how much you want that promotion. it all depends on who depends on you ie. kids you suport your elderly mother, you gay lover etc.

unfortunately everyone has their price, if she has yours bite the bullet and go. who know you may get to see the lighter side of ms. hitler.
