Ok, is this a Midwest thing?? I'm in the south now and noone knows what I'm talking about .

It's today, Oct. 21st and it is somehwat like Valentine's Day. In Chicago you will see the balloons, and cards saying "Happy Sweetest Day", but now I'm in the south and it's unheard of.

I celebrated it once. I'm really big on holidays...but I'm not going to see my significant other today, maybe I'll do something tomorrow. I'm in New York City so no, it's not only a Midwest thing.

Yes, I live in Indiana and it is today. I never have a sweety to celebrate it with. I know it is always the Saturday following my birthday though. Happy Sweetest day to you and your sweety.
