I don't think Paul Stanley would have looked that good as a viking or an Irish imp. He was star man or something like that wasn't he?
What about Peter, he was hardly scary looking.
KISS couldn't be any cooler if they stuck them in a freezer.
GWAR would good while they lasted - only lookwise, not musically, but they were no match for KISS :-).

No way. You can`t improve on perfection. KISS was what KISS was and that was great. There outfits and make-up was what made them KISS. They are great musicians and singers. It was a perfect match. To change or add anything would have just been worthless. It didn`t matter what they were made up to be , each one was unique and is what that person came up with. So having a viking or a leprechuan would let you know what they were, what they had made you say WOW I dont know what there are but it is the coolest. Also being different from anything allowed for a copyright or patent on there face designs.

Kiss will never be cool. I'm a fan of their genre, but they cared more about their appearance than their music, which isn't something I'm into.
