I could not believe it when they said Jeffery, I would have bet my life that they were going to say Uli Laura or Michael, anyone but him, I thought he had the worst collection , the judges praised Laura and Uli, and I thought they told Jeffery that his wasn't that good? Did I miss something along the way?
There is something funny going on there, and I'm not laughing...it just did not add up... I have to watch it again...I was just so disappointed, Jeffery seems sneaky and it doesn't take much for him to get an attitude.....
I don't know, something smells fishy....

Since the based it on the runway show and not the whole seasons work I thought it was the most fair voting they have ever done.
They wanted a story and Jeff had the best story it was inspired by Japanese ghost stories. Then the workman ship was very good, the creativity was excellent it was not a reapeat of anything ever seen before. Then he choose the best models and hair and clothes to fit his style. Then he had written his own music to play at the show. He started very early so his whole collection was complete.
Uli was secound. Her collection was definately beautiful, she had a clear story, it was cohesive, she had a point of view she had listened to the constructive criticism of the judges. Her model and hair choice was excellent. Her music matched her mood too. She just was a tiny bit less creative than jeffrey and she started much later than he did so the construction was not quite as good.
Laura was 3rd. Laura started really far ahead. She had a clear point of view and the collection was really well made and detailed all by her. She did however not present a new idea like Jeffrey or Uli. Her idea was a flashback, but it was very well done with the models, the hair and the makeup. She is not very creative, but is good with that conservative classic clothing. This was about design.
Michael started really late. His clothing was not wearable, it was not cohesive. He did not choose models or hair or makeup correctly. He just missed. He had procrasinated so much. It was a real disapointment. He had some sill speach where he had obviously not listened to the judges about his consturctive criticism with the sexy sultury and then he growled. People who were supporting him did not after that show. That collection was just unwearable and not artful either. It was just trashy. It could not be editorial or wearable and that is why he was last. It did not belong in a museum, an art magazine or on a rack in a store.
The other collections besides Michaels were all usable as clothes and Jeffreys and Ulis had an art editorial aspect to them.
It was the most perfect judging ever. It is not the fault of Michaels supporters that he made a back slide and cannot design well without major restrictions put on him. Perhaps he needs some more structure and some more school to get better. He just is not ready. It was really sad. I thought he would be able to make some great clothing for INC, but it just shows he is not ready. He needs a great deal of restrictions or he starts making really tasteless stuff.

Weird, I asked the same question yesterday or the day before :)
I definitely think Uli should have won. She was the most amazing designer. I'm sure she'll still be a big hit though. I'd love to buy her clothes because she's so talented.
