SuperTramp has a nice piano player.
I listen to various Classical as I like music. And Beethoven and those people helped influence music today, as today's music will influence tomorrow's. I would just buy a few Classical CDs with a variety so you can hear some of the different compositions. I not listen to them often, but, get them out now and then. It like some Rock/Country Music, I can not afford every CD so, many I buy the Best Of Whoever and it help me have more variety.

The "song" thing, definitely. Most of these just depend on peoples' opinions, or their lack of knowledge of classical music, but that's like, the easiest thing to change. The first step in "becoming" a classical musician- know how to talk about the music you're learning! I don't think I saw this on here, but my biggest frustration after the song/piece issue would be the people who think it's too late to learn an instrument (ie- "I'm 15, is it too late for me to learn the tuba?). NO. It's never too late to learn something! Sure, maybe you won't be able to get into a music school or become a professional (but you never know), but if you want to play something, play it! You're never too old to play an instrument. My violin teacher, as well as teaching teenagers and little elementary school kids, also teaches retirees, parents, and other adults who just want to learn to play the violin. The child virtuosos? Yes, frustrating. It's a little depressing to go onto YouTube looking for videos of a piece that you're learning and consider really difficult and you wonder if you'll EVER be able to play it, and find a video of a 10-year old playing it perfectly. Bonus depressing points if they're under 10, or playing said piece with a professional orchestra. But you can't really get mad at them for being able to play so well.

I love classical. Another great Beethoven tune is 'Fur Elise'. You can listen to it here - http://www.mp3.com.au/track.asp?id=31783
My favourite piece of classical music is 'The Planets' by Holst.
