A belated but Happy Birthday to your twins. Mine turned 24 in January. Ah.... those days seemed like yesterday as well. Time is such a relative element to our lives. The moment we are in seems sometimes to be dragging by, yet when we reflect back on it, it seems to have passed by in the twinkling of an eye. Today our children are infants who can't do a thing for themselves... twinkle... they are walking and talking and feeding themselves... twinkle... they are off to school.. twinkle.... proms and caps and gowns. Now my "twinklinlg" stage is careers and grandchildren, and now my babies are babying me!!! All I can say is enjoy each stage as it presents itself, it will never be that particular way again... but the next one is better than the last!!!

Happy Birthday to them both!! Tell them your Yahoo friends are celebrating their first decade in a non-decadent way, of course.
Funny you ask, I was looking through photo albums today of my children. When I look back on all that has happened through the years it seems like so long ago, and yet, at the same time, it seems to have flown by all too quickly. My daughter went to her senior homecoming dance tonight. Next year she'll leave for college. It seems like yesterday the doctor was exclaiming, "It's a girl!"
One thing I do know, the time doesn't jjust go away. It lives on in our memories, and we can rewind anytime we want and enjoy the best scenes.
Aren't children wonderful? I hope yours have a phenomenal year.

I know what you mean, I have a 11 yr old boy. I about died when he asked for a dirt bike. I got him one, he's a natural, his dad use to race. I also have a 12 1/2 yr old girl, I wont even go into about her. OMG. My best friend from school said she looks just like me. Good Luck!!

Wait till you're 50.
Time passes even faster as we get older, so enjoy these moments before you're on your way to the hospital to visit your newborn grandchildren.
Happy 10th. Birthday to your twins!

I'm thankful you want to be a good father, and there's no better time to be thinking about this.
How can you be a good father? The first step is to realize that God gave this child to you, and you and your wife are only stewards or trustees of this little one God has entrusted to you. The Bible says, "Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him" (Psalm 127:3). Thank God for your child every day, and ask God to help you be the best parents you can be.

Then, ask yourself why God gave this child to you. Certainly, one reason is to provide for his or her physical well-being; no one is as helpless as a baby. But God also gives children to us to help them grow mentally and emotionally—which is why there is no substitute for spending time with our children and letting them know, often and openly, that we love them.

Most of all, God entrusts our children to us for their moral and spiritual growth. Will your child learn what is right and wrong from you, and that Christ is the only sure foundation for life? Make sure of your own commitment to Christ, then ask God to help you point your child to Him—both by your teaching and your example.

It is incredible isn't it... they are babies today and going to high school and college and having their own babies the next... That is why people should just sit back... outside the picture... and look at it and they will then see how short life really is
