Okay, I wasn't exactly sure when the first date of my last period was..Now I'm completely unsure of my due date, only I know that it is sometime in November. My first ultrasound, I was 3 days behind..now I'm actually ahead of where I should be. How can I atleast halfway determine when I am going to go into labor? Should I go ahead and get my hospital bags packed? ..Sorry about the question, I'm sure these get annoying. Haha. But right now, my doctor says from the date I estimated, I'm 36 weeks.

Pack those bags!!! My son surprised us at 37 weeks, so it could be any time now. Only 5% of women actually deliver on their due date, so just knowing approximately how far along you are is just as good.

the scans can be two weeks off no matter whether you know the exact date or not. no one is ever sure of when they will go in labor. its usually within 2 weeks of the due date (before or after). at an approx 36 weeks u may as well get the bags ready, never too early to do that. be safe and prepared not sorry. also what your measureing can have little to do with the date being right or wrong. a baby can be bigger or smaller than they usually are at that stage and throw a measurement off

There really is no definate due date. The baby decides when they want to appear in the world. You should go ahead and have a bag ready just in case, but I wouldn't expect to be using it for awhile.

If you are 36 weeks, you are technically done. This is the time that if there were any serious problems, the doctor would deliver. Just keep your partner on stand by and just let the rest come naturally.

Just FYI...I was induced at 40 weeks, and two of my pregnant friends were induced at 46 and 47 weeks...so it varies greatly.

if you know the 1st day of your last cycle add 10 days to that date then count 9 months from there and that's your true due date. you should have your bags packed and every thing ready for the baby now. you never know the baby may come sooner than expected. best wishes!!!

Doesn't hurt anything to be prepared. Listen to your Dr that is what you pay him for!
