"Hotel California" by the Eagles, and it brings back two vivid memories. The first is the day my best friend got her driver's license. That night 5 of us girls piled into her car and cruised around our home town of Beverly Shores, Indiana. The song was playing as we drove along the lakefront (Lake Michigan), and there were a million stars. Unfortunately we then got stuck in a ditch on private property and somebody started shooting at us! The second memory is of driving a beautiful rented convertible in Los Angeles. I started in Hollywood and took Sunset Boulevard all the way to the Pacific Ocean. As I was winding through Brentwood, the sun was setting, and this song was on the radio. Perfect.

Wishing You Were Here by Chicago. It was a song a girl and I use to play when we were apart. We had a long distance love affair that made it hard on us. We got to see each other on a few weekends but not enough. Finally we ended up going our separate ways and haven`t seen each other in over 25 + years. So when I hear the song I think of her alot , her smile , her voice, her perfume, and her touch. Just one of those loves that come once in your life that you have to let go but cant forget.
