My female ferret was called Charlotte and my male ferret was called Dwight. I had a black masked female ferret and the male was an albino ferret with red eyes. My male ferret liked to be handled by my family a lot, on the other hand my female ferret liked to play with shoes and followed you wherever you went. The secret is to give lots of attention to them, because they don't like to be kept in a cage all the time.

Is it male or female. I think someone once told me it's better to get a female because they don't have as strong of a scent. I knew someone who had a ferret named lily. Some other names might be: Cole, Senior Stinky, Bingo, Bailey, Frank, Mr. Toodles, (or MIss), Scooter, Lexy, Lenon, Stu, Ollie, Roald, Kiss-Kiss, Daisy, Cosmo, or Tiger.

Ferrets used to be kept as house "pets" in the British Isles before house cats became common, particularly in Scotland. Good at ridding the premises of varmints. A good highland name is appropriate, Bonnie, Laddie, McFer. Have at it and a good time at that.
