My name is Quinton, and I am almost always the only person in a group (be that group a class, workplace, etc.) with that name. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, either.
I was just wondering if anyone knew anyone that had that name. Some other spellings of the name are: Quentin, Quenton, Quinten. Oh, and I am aware of the film producer named Quentin ; ).

I know quite a few Quintens in the Netherlands. That version of the name is in fashion over here at the moment!
Are you from the US?
If you are, I am amazed that you haven't met more people with your name, because Quinton has been among the top 1000 names in the US since the 1910's. It apparently peaked in the 1990's.

I knew a guy in the Navy back in 1988 and 89 named Quentin. I cannot remember his last name though, but it was something Irish. He had fiery red hair and clear blue eyes and was a really nice guy but I do not know where he got stationed after that.
The comedienne Bret Butler had a show in the mid 90's called Grace Under Fire and her son on there was named Quinton.

There's a company in Bothel, Washington called Quinton Instrument Company. They make holters and other heart monitoring equipment. They started out selling treadmills for stress tests, but they sold that business off to StairMaster.

My brother-in-law has an unusual middle name beginning with a "T". He met a girl who said her middle name, beginning with a "T", was stranger than his. They placed a bet. It turns out they were both named Theophilus, Greek for "friend of God".
