I need a vacation from everything because I haven't had one in at least two years.

I do need a vacation. I have been a single mother of four for thirteen years and I have not had a vacation unless you count two nights at a bed & breakfast, a couple of hours away from home, in that entire time. I long for a week at Cape Cod, just relaxing and doing some writing and introspection. Walking in nature, eating clams, and reading for one week, without any responsibilities would help me out of a rut. I have been working in a nonprofit, giving to others, while neglecting my own needs. I am sure there are others who deserve and need a vacation, more than I do, but we all need time away to get a fresh perspective on our lives.

I need a vacation so I can get a job. I'm not working because I fear that once I start to work, well, I won't have time off for vacation ... so I'm thinking, if I take my vaction before I get a job, then that might satisfy me.

How about four consecutive 65+ hour work weeks? And I broke my toe last Wednesday, so I've been doing a little limping lately too. And there's no end in sight, so maybe next year I can take some time off.

I do because I'm tired and stressed, and my vacation starts next Friday. Finally!

I do. I have just been working hard and would love to be on a beach somewhere. Especially somewhere that did not have cell phone reception.

yes. just to get away from it all, the bad thing is you always have to come back to reality......maybe ill just buy a hottub and enclosure that way i can go on a mini vaction every night

yes, cuz ppl get stressed w/ their jobs & need a break & sometimes it's good 2 get away.
