Have you ever had your tubes tied?

Question

I am thinking about having this done and I want to know as much as I can. Tell me if you have had this done or if you know someone who has had this done and if it was a good or bad experience.

I am 23 and I have 2 children and I do not want to have anymore. I am absolutely sure about this and I have been thinking about this for about a year and I half.

I haven't had it done, but I know quite a few people who have had it done, I think its a day thing, meaning you should be home by the evening. They make a little cut in the bottom section of your tummy and go from there. Know one I know who's had this done has ever had any problems, it's something I'll probably have done in the future! I have not but my mother and sister in law have and they had no problems. You didn't mention your age or if you have any children. So take all that into consideration and make sure you absolutely want no more kids before you take this big step. Good luck to you!!!!!

the only bad experience for me was the nurse! she left me in pain .. and that was NOT right.. otherwise besides pain i am glad I did it.. i would talk with the dr more about it.. find out all of what happens what exactly they do, i had banding done which they do say is more painful then another that I cannot remember what it was called. hope all works out for you.
