Well, there is a free way and a not so free way. First, let's talk about the free way. You can use an online word processor, like Writely or Zoho Writer, to convert .pdf files to .doc files. You will need to sign up for a free account. Afterwards, upload the .pdf file and choose to save as .doc file. Now, Writely or Zoho will convert it to a .doc and you can then download this new file.

The not so cheap way is to use a third party software tool, such as Solid Converter PDF(standard version is $49.95).

1. Writely (www.writely.com)
2. Zoho (www.zohowriter.com)
3. Solid Converter PDF (http://www.solidpdf.com/)

You could just highlight the text, go to Edit - Copy, hit copy, then paste it into Word.
