I would flirt with him and wait for his move... girls are never supposed to ask a guy out, i was once in your situation and i asked him out and he said no.

Start talking about this really great movie, halloween party or a mall trip. If he does get the hint say Im not doing anything this weekend i wanted to see if you want to go.
Or if you are not comfortable get a group together and invite him with other friends. That way you avoid the weird moments and you can hang out with him too.

I GO IT! me personally i like it when girls make the first move. but u cant wait too long for the person u like to make the first move or else its too late (i know from personal experience). so the best advice i can give u is to just go for it!

I'd say go for it. Unless he's completely out of your league. I asked my boyfriend out in highschool and we ended dating for 3 years. Most guys think it's really cool when a girl has the balls (not literally...) to ask them out!

make sure you like him and that he doesn't have a girlfriend. Also, make sure you ask him casually and let him know that it would be as friends.
